Kristi Inkinen Yanagihara

Owner

Kristi, founder of Remedy Intelligent Staffing, found her calling in human resources recruitment when she was growing up. Her mother, Kathryn Inkinen, manages Inkinen and Associates, an executive recruitment firm that has a long record of successful placements with Hawaii's top companies.

Kristi is responsible for all facets of Remedy Intelligent Staffing's operations, including managing communications with the franchise corporate office, company sales, marketing, and finance. Her background in the placement industry and practical approaches provide an effective combination to meeting the needs and demands of Remedy's growing roster of client employers. She received her bachelor of business administration degree from Loyola Marymount University and her executive masters in human resources from the University of Hawaii.

Kimberly Miyashiro

Senior Human Resources Manager

Kimberly joined the firm in 2007. She oversees staff operations, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll and benefits. Kim has more than 10-years experience in career education, specifically in career placement, counseling and job-readiness training. 

Kim feels fortunate to have worked with a wide range of companies in various HR capacities. The scope and diversity of her work experience has honed her expertise in understanding the clients' specific human-resources needs and recruiting and presenting matches of high-caliber candidates. 

Before assuming her current position, Kim worked for a private company providing job-readiness training and also as a career development specialist for both youth and adults at a private educational institution. Kim earned an undergraduate degree in Human Development at UHM and a Master of Human Resource Management degree from the Shidler School of Business. She has worked as a volunteer for the Special Olympics, Easter Seals, Shriners Hospital, Kamehameha Schools, American Heart Association, and more. 


Kristin Alm

Human Resources Coordinator

Kristin joined the team at Remedy Intelligent Staffing in September 2010. As the Human Resources Coordinator, she deals with the associate side of the business – from application to orientation for new associates to processing payroll and assisting with benefits for associates currently on assignment. Kristin also recruits for various local clients to assist them with their staffing needs.

Kristin has her Bachelor of Science degree in Travel Industry Management from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and spent a few years in the local restaurant industry. She is currently pursuing her Master in Human Resource Management degree from the University of Hawaii's Shidler College of Business. Kristin is a member of the Hawaii Society of Business Professionals (HSBP) and the Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM).


Jennifer Kurano Onishi

Staffing Specialist

Jennifer joined the Remedy team in August 2010 and is responsible for the recruiting, interviewing, screening and placement of quality candidates. She works with various companies on temporary and temp-to-hire positions to fill administrative, accounting, human resources and technical opportunities. Jennifer particularly enjoys working closely with clients to identify and understand their individual business needs to ensure successful placement for both the company and candidate.

Jennifer brings with her over six years of marketing, sales and customer service experience and has been fortunate to have collaborated with a variety of local and national businesses. Prior to Remedy, she spent the last four years in the publishing industry concentrating on marketing and promotions, as well, as client and community relations.

Jennifer has her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature with a Minor in Japanese from the University of Washington, Seattle. An active member in the community, her volunteer work has included working with The Contemporary Museum, Hawaii Theatre Center, and the Hawaii International Film Festival.


Kelly Nishimura

Staffing Specialist

Kelly joined Remedy in early 2011 and handles the recruiting, interviewing, screening and placement for numerous job opportunities throughout Hawaii. She works closely with clients of various sizes and industries to fill administrative, accounting, and technical positions. In addition, Kelly enjoys getting to know each of our employees and strives to provide them with job opportunities that are an ideal fit.

Kelly has over seven years of marketing and sales experience which has helped her to develop strong business relationships both with our employees as well as our clients. Her background in marketing comes primarily from the hospitality and private club industries. She most recently worked as the Membership Director at The Pacific Club - Hawaii's premier private club in downtown Honolulu.

Kelly earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a focus in Information Systems and Marketing from the University of Washington in Seattle. She is also a Mid-Pacific Institute alumnus and has been an active member of the Alumni Board since 2006. Kelly was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and in her spare time she enjoys early morning jogs and relaxing by the pool with her family.
